What Is KidZone

Article Pic KidZone is the Sunday morning programing for all babies and children, birth through 5th grade.  We have an excellent staff of volunteers who are excited to care for and teach your child the basics of the Chirstian faith.  KidZone is an interactive time where children will have age appropriate lessons, crafts, music and videos that will help your child grow in faith and life.  We take very seriously the safety and growth of your child, and we want you to feel confident that your child is in good hands so you can worship God freely during the service.

What Time Does KidZone Begin

KidZone is open for check-in aproximately 15 minutes before service begins.

Can My Kids Come To The Service

Article Pic You are welcome to bring your kids to service.  Currently the kids come in for the beginning portion of the service, and go to their area for an age appropriate lesson as the sermons are not geared toward children.  Ultimately it is up to you as the parent to decide what is best for your child, and we ask that if you do decide to bring them into the entire service please be sensitive to those around you if a disruption should occur.

Check-In

  • The first time a child attends KidZone, his or her parent should complete a registration form at the check-in desk.
  • A child and parent should also recieve a number and a bracelet bearing the same number.
  • If the child has difficulty in the room, that number will be displayed on the big screen, so the parent may discreetly excuse themselves to attend to the needs of the child.
  • Upon the completion of the service, parents should promptly return to the classroom to pick up the child and return the bracelet.  This helps to ensure that children are only picked up by people who have been approved by the parent.

Illness

A child should not be in a classroom if:

  • 1. In the previous 24 hours, the child has shown signs of:
      a) fever, b) vomiting, c) diarrhea, d) an undetermined rash, or e) respiratory difficulties;
  • 2. The child shows signs of conjunctivitis (pinkeye) or any type of contagious infection;
  • 3. The child has been on an antibiotic for less than 48 hours due to a contagious infection;
  • 4. The child seems listless and/or exhibits a change in normal behavior; or
  • 5. The child is experiencing the first 48 hours of a runny nose, cough, or thick nasal discharge.
